Hi, I'm Harpreet.

I am an adventurous, experimental foodie that loves to make food, often with that Indian twist. Incorporating natural and homemade blends, spices and ingredients - I like to create and cook recipes that anyone can follow! 

Ever since I can remember I had a passion for cooking. Whether it was surprising my mum on mother’s day at the age of 6, with chocolate rice crispy cakes - or entertaining and coming up with menu ideas for dinner parties. 

Inspired by my mother and her many hours in the kitchen providing us with mouth-watering meals for the family - I would spend hours in the kitchen with her, getting insight into her various culinary combinations. To me, it has always been important to keep the flavours of my heritage alive and one day be able to pass them on to my children, and have them experience what I was lucky enough too.

Through my travels, inspiration and my life experience (married and cooking for a food obsessed husband) - Kaloty's Kitchen was born.

A combination of recipes that have been passed down from my mother - along side my own experiments, this is all about wanting to prove that home-cooking can be simple, fun and easy. 

Something borrowed, something new, a fusion feast from me to you.
